From New Canaan we follow the work north, up the Hudson Valley and into the hill towns. New construction, top-to-bottom renovations, and the additions that turn a good house into the one a family keeps, with a principal close to the field on every project.
Where the land opens up.
Upstate properties trade the commute for acreage: long views, old stone walls, and houses that answer to the landscape instead of the lot line. The seasons are harder here, and a house has to be built for all four of them.
The drive from New Canaan is longer, so we plan for it: the same crews and subcontractors we trust at home, staged to the site, and one team accountable from pre-construction through the years after the house is finished, the way Hobbs has worked since 1954.
