This newly constructed residence, designed by Austin Patterson Disston Architects, artfully navigates the challenges of its location. Large neighboring homes threatened to obstruct its water views, a dilemma ingeniously solved by the architect’s strategic design. The residence features two rectilinear volumes canted at the center, with the breakfast room and dining room serving as pivots. This unique arrangement ensures most rooms enjoy unobstructed views of the water. Additionally, the property’s fishing shack, seamlessly integrated into the waterfront ledge, has earned a 2017 HOBI Award for its distinctive appeal.
